Redwood Engagement Session at Muir Woods National Monument

You may have seen my recent blog post about another engagement session at Muir Woods National Monument (if you haven't, you can check it out here)! I actually did this engagement session with Becky and Virgil the week after that session so I was READY to tackle the crowds haha.

Becky and Virgil are originally both from Tennessee but they didn't meet until a couple years ago! Virgil moved to the Bay Area about ten years ago and Becky moved the the Bay Area a few years ago. Isn't it crazy how small the world is? And both of their families living in Tennessee makes visiting their families easy. They're actually getting married back home in Tennessee but they wanted to do their engagement session in California and wanted a location that really said "Bay Area." Living in the Bay Area is honestly so amazing because there's so many different beautiful places to visit - we're so close to mountains, beaches, forests, vineyards, you name it. We really are so lucky to live where we do.

ANYWAYS, back to the shoot! We met at the entrance to Muir Woods and we were so excited to have coincidently picked the date that allows free admission (with reservation) for participating National Parks and Monuments! Although I don't think any of us will be doing that again because we didn't think about the fact that sooo many people were going to be there! We had so much fun anyway though (obviously, it's always a fun time).

Becky and Virgil love hiking and exercising together - so this outdoorsy spot seemed so perfect for them! I'm so glad I got to meet with them and shoot with them! I can't wait to see where life takes these two!
