Wine Country Proposal at Artesa Winery

I've been doing proposals for a while now and I still get SO excited every time I get an inquiry for another one! When Caleb inquired, he wasn't sure where he wanted to pop the question but he wanted to do it at a winery. I love helping clients decide where to propose, especially if they're coming from outside of California and have never been to Napa before. When I get the opportunity to help choose the location/winery, I like to ask a few questions before giving some options.

Are you hoping to propose before, during or after a tasting?
Are you interested in wineries that have special proposal packages?
Do you guys have a preference between champagne, white or red wines?

There's literally hundreds of wineries in wine country so this help me give a handful of great options rather than sending a fat list. Less is more, right?

I've been DYING to shoot a proposal at Artesa Winery so I was stoked when Caleb chose this spot! Artesa overlooks the rolling hills of the Carneros region at the bottom of Napa Valley and the views here are so stunning. I went to the winery beforehand to scout out the best spot for him to propose and for me to hide.

Caleb and Kenzie have been together since 8th grade (middle school sweethearts?!) and are originally from Ohio but currently live in Alabama. They planned this California trip a while ago and have been looking forward to it for so long. They visit Napa Valley, Yosemite and San Francisco - a classic California trip!

Caleb and Kenzie had their tasting at Artesa and enjoyed the beautiful views while sipping wine. Afterwards they headed outside to take some photos together. Caleb took her to the planned spot, took a couple photos of her and then and did the thing! He got down on his knee and she had no idea! Her reaction was so cute - "wait is this real, this is mine?" She never suspected a thing! Another successful proposal for the books :) I can't wait to see where life takes these two!
