Wedding at The Luminary Farm in Pleasanton, California

I had never even heard of The Luminary Farm before this wedding but oh my gosh, it's so freaking beautiful. It's the cutest little house in the middle of nowhere out on the outskirts of Danville and San Ramon, California in the East Bay. At the top of the hill is the house and there's a pool area at the bottom of the hill. Between the brick, the gorgeous willow trees and the golden light peeking through, I was obviously dying at how beautiful it was.

From our very first Zoom call together, before Alex and Brandon had even booked, I knew right away that we were going to hit it off and have so much fun. I felt like we clicked immediately and that their wedding was going to be a blast and it definitely lived up to and surpassed the expectations. Alex and Brandon are so laid back and just genuinely wanted to have fun. The venue owners allow you to rent out the house on the property so they spent all of Memorial weekend (their wedding weekend) having fun and hanging poolside with their closest friends and family.

On the wedding day, the girls got ready on one side of the house and the guys got ready on the other side of the house. It was so easy and convenient having everyone and everything all in one place. Before the guys started getting ready, they hung out down by the pool. Brandon's best man/brother was so funny - he's been to many weddings and was so on top of Brandon and all the boys. He made sure they were in line, on time and had sunscreen on by the pool - the best best man I've ever witnessed haha.

Alex was so adorable - she got so emotional when we saw the ceremony set up. I don't blame her because it was seriously so freaking beautiful. Anjuli with The Bloom Bar Co did an incredible job with the wedding floral decor. The flowers and colors were just so stunning.

The reception space was just as gorgeous as the ceremony space. The ceremony took place on the lawn on the side of the house and the reception and dance floor were on the lawn of the backside of the house overlooking the vineyard and the mountains. The views were so amazing. I'm just completely obsessed with their whole day.

The toasts were wonderful and the sun setting over the mountains during the toasts was absolutely gorgeous. It was just the perfect end to their wedding day before everyone got down on the dance floor. This was such a fun group and I just feel so grateful to have clients like Alex and Brandon who make my job so much fun.
