Summer Wedding at Silverthorn Meadows in Camino, California

I had sooo much fun with Audrey and Zac at their engagement session last fall at Sly Park (you can check out the blog post from their engagement session here)! Audrey and Zac are just such a kind, genuine and loving couple and all of their friend and family were just that as well. It was such a beautiful day.

For those who didn't know, I'm currently located in Napa, California but I'm originally from Placerville, California. I had never been to Silverthorn Meadows before and I was so excited to head back to my stomping grounds to celebrate Audrey and Zac. I didn't know what to expect except that there probably wouldn't be service - just small town things, am I right?? It's tucked away up in Camino near Apple Hill so I figured it would be beautiful. When I got to the venue, it far surpassed any expectations I could have had. All the trees and flowers were gorgeous and in bloom. It was amazing. The ceremony took place in front of the pond and the reception was on the same lawn under the string lights - such a convenient venue space!

The bridal suite was in a little cabin on the property tucked away from the ceremony space. We ended doing the girls' group photos there instead of shuttling ourselves back and forth and it ended up being so beautiful with the light peaking through the trees behind them.

During the reception, the father of the groom, father of the bride, best man, and maid of honor all gave such wonderful toasts. I love when they keep it sort and simple, emotional but also light and fun - they were lovely.

When the DJ started playing the music, it was music that I feel people wouldn't really get up and get down on the dance floor to at most weddings but most of the guests were out on the dance floor vibing all night. They were all around such a fun and wonderful group of people and I feel so honored and grateful to have been there to capture all of these moments for Audrey and Zac. It was so much fun and I can't wait to see where life takes them.
