Spring Engagement at Del Valle Regional Park

Okay I'm just going to start this blog post off by saying that this was honestly one of my favorite engagement sessions so far this year. There's just something about driving so far for an engagement session and then being blown away by how beautiful it is! If you didn't already know, I'm a photographer based in beautiful Napa, but I do shoot all over the Bay Area! Well I'll shoot anywhere really so if you want me to come to shoot near you, let's chat! But I digress. Livermore is about an hour and a half away from Napa but the rolling hills at Del Valle Regional Park NEVER disappoints. Whether it's spring or summer and the hills are green or brown, it's always gorgeous during that golden hour.

It was such a gorgeous day for a shoot. Sam and Justin's outfits were so well coordinated - they both went really well together and complimented both themselves and the scenery. When you book an engagement session with me, you get access to me "what to wear" guide and I love seeing how each couple interprets it in their own unique way.

We started at the top of the hill and started off easy with some fun walking and twirling poses and of course those "smile at the camera" shots that moms and grandmas hang on their refrigerators. This session was extra fun because they didn't mind letting me try some new prompts and poses with them and they rocked it. We did an outfit change and even let Justin put on his fav sunglasses hahaha. I'm honestly SO obsessed with their photos. It was one of those sessions that was just so easy to go through and edit and I didn't want it to be finished because I just love every photo.

Sam and Justin are such a fun, easy going couple and they were such a blast to work with. I can't wait for their wedding later this year in Healdsburg, it's going to be so fun and so beautiful!
