KIRSTEN + DAVID
Kirsten and David were actually supposed to be my first wedding of the year back in April until they had to postpone their big day due to covid-19. I met Kristen at the beginning of the year and I was so glad we were able to do their engagement shoot before quarantine happened!
I gave them a list of potential locations to shoot at and I was so excited when they chose Armstrong Woods State Natural Reserve in Guerneville, California. I looooove the redwoods, they're so beautiful! It can be difficult to shoot in the redwoods because of lighting but it was so worth it! They asked if they could bring their little one, Mackenzie, along and do some family photos as well and how could I say no to that smiling face?? She's the cutest and she may have thought she was the star of the shoot. I must admit that she was an excellent model.
We had such a fun time at their shoot and I can't wait to finally celebrate with them in September! With more covid cases popping up, their wedding day is going to look a bit different than they imagined but I'm looking forward to helping make their day special regardless. Stay tuned to see the photos!
