Intimate Rooftop Elopement at The Archer Hotel in Downtown Napa

When Angie and Tristan first reached out and told me they were getting married in Downtown Napa at The Archer Hotel on the rooftop and having their reception at Ashes & Diamonds Winery, I was SO EXCITED. I didn't even know Archer Rooftop did weddings! Despite living in Napa myself, literally just a few blocks away, I had yet to visit it so I was excited to finally have an excuse to go up there. I had also never been to Ashes & Diamonds and I'd heard such great things about it so I was stoked to see how everything was going to play out.

I met with Angie and Tristan a couple months before their wedding to chat details and plan their day. They're from Michigan and were visiting Napa to plan the wedding and it was their first trip away from their adorable son Rowan. It was so fun getting to know them before their big day!

Angie and Tristan decided they wanted to do a first look before the ceremony and I found the PERFECT spot behind Archer in front of a funky mural. It was so beautiful and I'm so excited about the wide variety of spots we got to shoot in throughout their wedding day!

When I went up to the rooftop before the ceremony started, I quickly realized how much fun Angie and Tristan's families are. Angie's sister Annie officiated the ceremony and she did such an amazing job - it was a great balance between serious and funny. She even got me tearing up a little bit. It was such a stunning ceremony overlooking Downtown Napa and surrounded by the mountains of the beautiful Napa Valley.

After the ceremony, we did group photos on the rooftop before Angie, Tristan and I headed out for portraits. We walked through downtown stopping at lots of beautiful spots for photos. Then we hopped in my car and drove to a little private road and took some photos in the vineyards because you can't get married in Napa and not get photos in the vineyards, am I right??? It was so beautiful and so much fun!

We headed to Ashes and Diamonds for the reception and it was so beautiful (how many times am I going to say beautiful haha). The florals by Melody Raye Flowers were so funky and gorgeous. This was such a fun, intimate space for a wedding reception and I would have never thought of it but I would definitely highly recommend it!

This was just the perfect day for a small, intimate celebration and I wish more couples would opt for wedding days like this! It's just so intentional and beautiful :)
