LIZ + JOE

Liz reached out to me a looooong time ago (I think before quarantine) to shoot their wedding in October of 2021. But once the world shut down and every one had to start postponing and replanting their weddings, they held off on planning their wedding. With all the changed plans and covid reschedules, I ended up being unavailable for their date and I was so bummed! But I was so excited when months later she reached back out to me to do their engagement photos!

I sent them a list of locations and they chose one of my favorite spots - North Sonoma Mountain Regional Park in Santa Rosa, California. I love this location because there's such a wide variety of spots to take photos! It's about a mile hike to the top but there's a ton of different types of trees (including redwoods!) on the way up. At the top there's a beautiful view overlooking hills of vineyards and the sun sets to left.

We actually had to postpone their original engagement session because it was pouring the weekend we had planned it and the weather on the rescheduled date did not disappoint! The sunset was SO DANG BEAUTIFUL. Seriously, scroll down and look at how freaking gorgeous it was.

I had so much fun shooting with Liz and Joe - it was a blast getting to know them despite me being unavailable for their big day. I'm sure I'll see them again in the future :)
